This is one of my favorites for a few reason. First, the view from the hotel is unbeatable. As you walk round the hotel, epic views of the Pacific peak from every corner. This is mostly highlighted in the restaurant. While the food is good, nothing amazing, the views are incase. Ask for the corner window. Also, this property offers little fire pits scattered around and when asked, more wood will be delivered to you. So you get that Big Sur experience with a fire pit smores without needing to campout. This hotel is about 5 - 10 minutes from most of the locations in my drive.
